We had the Chicken Pad Thai & the Pineapple Fried Rice. We are both leaving full and happy.

Drove all the way here. Internet clearly states their hours on Monday are 11-930.
Restaurant refused my business and said they were closed, even though the door was unlocked, the lights were on, and it was 4pm. Prime early dinner hours.
The girl didn't even know what time they "opened". She started to say 4, realized it was 4:05, then said uhhh four... thirty?" Just making it up to turn me away.
What a waste of my time and gas. I will not return. This restaurant clearly does not value my business. -

I had the Basil Fried Rice with Chicken and it was almost wonderful. It was loaded with chicken and vegetables. It had 1" pieces of green onions, plus it had a bit of cabbage slaw on it. Both were very good ideas. There was a lot of it and the flavor was excellent. Then why the "almost wonderful" you ask? The rice was over-cooked a little. Over-cooking makes it kind of mushy, but it still had great flavor. Maybe the chef was having a crappy day?One more small thing. When she served me I requested some Thai chilis in fish sauce. She quickly sat down a condiment jar of them, but it was close to empty and only had a few chopped chili pieces in it. The fish sauce was pretty dark. That is a sign it's getting old. I'll eat here again on down the road.

Yum!
New Thai Blues is next to my reptile feeder store so I am always around, but never stopped in. I stopped in yesterday for lunch and the server still allowed me to order off the lunch menu even though I wasn't ready to order until 3:04.
I ordered a Thai iced tea - yum! & their spicy basil beef. My meal was flavorful and full of beef! Lots of meat, most places use more vegetables to disguise less meat, they used a good portion of fresh and tasty veggies, but majority of it was beef.
The sauce was perfect and there was a lot of it which I prefer because I like to eat my rice with it.
The restaurant has available street parking and is very well decorated, also they have cute gold fish inside & their water is infused with lemons which was refreshing on a hot day. -

Overall: 5/5
Based on eating here 5+ occasions.
Food: 5/5
I like to think I'm a generous yet honest reviewer, so lets get started with what we're here for. My favorite part about this place is the consistency of the food, its good every time. The food always has a great texture to it, too, the Pad Thai is never too dry or too soggy, the rice is always perfectly fluffy, moist and flaky like jasmine rice should be, and their curry always has that warm creaminess that helps with the winter chill. Their special menu is also worth a try, my favorite is probably the Lemongrass Chicken Pad Thai with peanut sauce, and a side of rice for the chicken(basically two entree's am I right?)
Service: 4.5/5
Sam is great, he's friendly, he works hard, and makes great food.(5/5) Fai was great, but I heard she moved. Since I started coming here there was been a consistent change in staff, probably new hires that didn't work out so great. Sometimes they just seem to rush me out.
Atmosphere: 4.5/5
Nice southeast Asian feeling decor, everything looks pretty clean. I absolutely love the crescent moon shape of the restaurant. Ample amount of seating. Half point off cause my hands always fall into the holes in the seats.
